In the game you play for one of the soldiers of the special squad, who got into the head a chip of Battle Frenzy and now he is in the so-called "Bloodshot" state. He allows the soldier not to feel pain, fear and gives him the desire to uncontrollably kill.
In 2049, the Yaz 67 base, located on the Moon, was attacked by aliens. The Earth Federation team of Starfleet takes retaliatory measures, sending two space cruisers to intercept, in order to inflict as much damage and capture as possible prisoners. But, after getting on board the spacecraft, they discovered that they are fully controlled by armed robotic soldiers who are superior to humans. In the end, the spacecraft was brought into orbit, and the scientists managed to disable the robots using electromagnetic fields. But after activating the computers by scientists on a space cruiser, they find that another alien carrier with even more robot soldiers, armed with extremely destructive Nova bombs, is moving to the ground. The only way to stop it is to destroy twelve plasma nuclear installations. As soon as it is destroyed, the whole deck will explode. Therefore, we must hurry.
A year later, as soon as the given carrier enters the Solar System, the Earth Federation sends a cybernetic-extended soldier to destroy the ship from within.
In the game, we have to wander through the corridors, collect weapons and various bonuses. And also to destroy crowds of different enemies. The main highlight of the game was a two-player game on one TV. Just like in Quake 2 for the PlayStation.
There is a version of the game Blood Shot for Sega MegaDrive / Genesis.
The game is also called: Battle Frenzy.
