In the game, most of the textures are redrawn, many sprites of weapons and enemies are changed. The levels themselves are now not broken down into episodes, but appear as one solid campaign. Among the curious innovations: the presence of weakened versions of the second boss Overlord (similar to the first boss), the fourth boss (Alien Queen) occurs before the third - Cycloid Emperor, which in this version appears in the form of a 3D model.
