Space Quest: Roger Wilco in the Sarien Encounter tells the story of Roger Wilco, a typical loser boy who, either because of his mental abilities or extreme laziness, only rose to the rank of janitor at the Arcada space research station. So he would have rubbed the chrome plated corridors until the end of his days, if not for the aggressively minded green-faced humanoids, who decided to take away the Star Generator by force, with the help of which it is possible to turn whole planets into dust. The entire crew was quickly killed, and only to Roger, who had peacefully slept through the moment of the invasion, fortune turned its face. And now he, as the last survivor, has to reincarnate from a hammered floor polisher into the savior of the Universe ...

Space Quest is one of the main trendsetters of the quest genre. Combining sparkling humor, parodying Star Wars pop culture, with a non-trivial storyline that connects all parts of the series, the game pleases us with a friendly interface, convenient controls, high-quality graphics (even the EGA version can boast of this). All this is diluted with excellent gameplay, which sometimes requires us to react, the ability to think quickly, and sometimes gives us the opportunity to calmly wander around the locations, thoughtfully solve complex, but obeying reasonable logic puzzles, or just enjoy the views.
