Actua Soccer: Club Edition is the second in a series from Gremlin Interactive and was published as a companion game to the main Actua Soccer game released a year earlier. The addition is the inclusion of 20 English Premier League teams in the 1996/1997 season, from favorites Manchester United to dark horse Nottingham Forest. Like the main game, Actua Soccer: Club Edition was developed in close collaboration with the local football team Sheffield Wednesday, and the team's players (Chris Woods, Graham Hyde and Andy Sinton) worked with the Gremlin Interactive team as models for motion capture using Motion Capture technology (this was the main condition of the agreement). With the exception of the above, the game has not undergone significant changes in comparison with the original.
