This is a "frivolous" racing game with wonderful cartoon characters, cartoon cars and tracks scattered around the world. At the very beginning of the game, you choose one of eight characters, including a well-equipped Granny, a crazy inventor, and others. There are also secret pilots, also very extravagant. They all chase the checkered flag on their hot rods on six winding tracks. All pilots have a different style of attacking the enemy. Attacks are paid for with stars scattered around the track. The more powerful the attack move, the more stars it costs. But if you master the special moves, you won't have to chase every star, as no one can match your skill.

In Wreckin' Crew, you don't have to drive the same route every time. You can cut corners or take a detour to overtake a tight group. Cars are implemented in the form of sprites, and the tracks are implemented using polygon equipment. Each track took about 500,000 polygons. In this case, no slowdown is observed. The funniest thing is playing aliens from outer space. While you are driving, you can play it on the big TV screen hanging upstairs. If you manage to cut out all the aliens without interrupting the race, you will get a lot of useful things. In addition to the race mode for one player, there is the opportunity to compete with your friend in split-screen mode, and the lucky owners of two PlayStations will be able to fight four of them. If winning a race doesn't satisfy you, you can choose the duel mode and fight your comrades in the arena. "Battles" of this type are very diverse in tactics and the use of machines. So, the car that proved to be the best in a one-on-one duel may be powerless if four are fighting. All this, combined with six standard tracks, varying weather conditions and a mysterious secret track, will keep real players busy for a long time.
