In a world that is attacked by monsters and has a more medieval touch, the player as Valkyrie, alone or in pairs with a frog-like character, has to try to free this world.
The game offers alternative paths, hidden treasures and the opportunity to collect gold coins left by defeated monsters. Typically for a jump'n'run, you run around obstacles, avoid opponents and traps or jump over dangers such as rolling stones and dangerous abysses, etc.
The role play part is less pronounced compared to Zelda and is limited to exploring the surrounding area and buying useful items from the local population, but these are not absolutely necessary. Some interesting zoom effects, opponent formations and puzzle mini-games loosen up the game, just like spells that cause giant growth or make a little fairy appear who supports the player as a satellite.
