A game from the series about Shinobi, where our hero fights against the evil reptiles that flooded New York.
The game does not stand out particularly from other games in the series, except that the graphics are better.

Training
On the screen labeled "Sega" (having turned on or restarting the system), press and hold A, B and C, then press START. Repeat the same on the title screen. You will get the opportunity to practice at any stage and in any environment (except for meetings with bosses), using the third option. Keep in mind that in almost every episode you can find a "lizard coin" (giving 1 or 2 lives).
Extra lives
At the Bonus Stage, you can get extra lives depending on the received strikes, as shown in the table:

Hidden extra lives
- Stage 2-2 - Two steps to the point where the fence begins, jump and get 1-Up.
- Stage 3-1 - On the third floor, go as far as possible to the right. There will be a man who is on two boxes. Shoot it with energy shuriken'ami and go to the exit to the next level. You will have the opportunity to jump down and find the 2-Up.
