Super Metroid - action-platformer that takes place on the fictional planet Zebes, which is a big, open world with areas connected doors and elevators. The player controls Semus Aran as she searches larva Metroid, which was stolen by Ridley, the leader of the Space Pirates. Along the way, the player collects improvements that increase the armor and weapons Semus and give her special abilities, such as the Space Jump that allows it to jump an unlimited number of times to cover great distances. These abilities allow Semus access to areas that were previously inaccessible.
The game introduces several new concepts. Among them are the ability to enable and disable weapons and abilities in inventory and moonwalk, named after the eponymous popular dance movement that allows Semus backing shooting or charging her arms. The game also gives the opportunity to combine weapons Semus rays. The system also saves on Metroid II: Return of Samus returns in Super Metroid, which allows the player to save the game and perezaputit in any of checkpoints scattered across the planet. The player can also save the game in the battle spaceship Semus that fully recharges her health and ammunition.

Plot

The game is a chronological continuation of Metroid II: Return of Samus, and begins with the story of bounty hunter Samus Aran. Samus describes how Metroid larva hatched from an egg, and immediately looked at her, thinking that she was her mother. She brought a larva in a space colony Ceres, where scientists have learned that they can use its power. Immediately after coming out of prison, Samus received a distress signal and vernulsas to learn that scientists are dead, and the larva stolen. The game begins with the fact it should be the leader of space pirates, Ridley to the planet Zebes, where she is looking for stolen larva in a network of caves.
Along the way, Samus defeats four of the Space Pirates bosses, including Ridley, and arrives in Tourian, the heart of the base space pirates. There she meets the larva Metroid, which has now grown to enormous size. Metroid larva attacks Samus and takes her almost all the energy, then, realizing who lets her in front of her. Samus recharges your energy and opposed to Mother Brain, the biomechanical creature that controls the database system. Mother Brain nearly kills Samus, but Metroid larva attacks Mother Brain, drains it and transmits energy Samus. Mother Brain recovers and destroys Metroid in retaliation, but in turn Samus comes alive with a powerful weapon created from the energy given to her larva Metroid. Thereafter, the algorithm of self-destruction, which Samus narrowly escaped.
